AUSTIN, Texas - James "Jimmy" Leon Robertson Jr., age 86, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013, at the Silverado Senior Living Onion Creek, Austin, Texas. He was formerly a resident of Longmeadow, Massachusetts, and was born February 25, 1927, to James and Celeste Robertson in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jimmy graduated from North Dallas High School, Dallas, Texas, in 1946, and Texas A&M University in 1951. He worked for Charles Pfizer Pharmaceutical, Addressograph-Multigraph, and MaGraw-Hill.

He was a WWII veteran, who served in the Navy on a PT Boat in the Pacific.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lena Segale Robertson.

Jimmy is survived by sons, Glenn Robertson and Scot Robertson; daughter, Gayle Robertson; nephews, Richard Woodruff, Randy Maxwell; eight grandchildren; cousin, Virginia "Ginny" Robertson; and many friends in Texas and New England.

Memorial Service, 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Weed-Corley-Fish Funeral Home, 2620 South Congress, Austin, TX 78704. A burial service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Rutland, VT, in the spring.
