WALLINGFORD - Milo G. Rockwell Jr., 69, died Oct. 8, 2013, at Rutland Regional Medical Center.

He was born April 21, 1944, in Winhall Hollow, the son of Milo and Margaret (Shattuck) Rockwell Sr.
He graduated from Wallingford High School in 1963.
Mr. Rockwell enlisted in the U.S. Navy and was stationed on the USS Belknapp. Following his honorable discharge, he returned to Vermont and worked briefly at the Brandon Training School prior to enlisting in the U.S. Coast Guard. He was stationed in Boston until being honorably discharged.
He was employed by General Electric Co. for over 20 years, retiring in 1996.
Survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Nevin of Mount Holly; four siblings, Carol Anderson of East Clarendon, Clayton Rockwell of North Clarendon, Harry "Rocky" Rockwell of Wallingford and Curtis Rockwell of Washington State; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his wife, Gloria Rockwell, in 2012 and a sister, Phyllis Rockwell.
There will be no public calling hours.
The memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, at First Baptist Church in Wallingford. Burial will follow in Danby-Scottsville Cemetery.
