It was an honor and a pleasure to have known Dr Cavnes and to have had him a a professor.

I can think of so many favors Dr. Cavnes blessed me with during my Centre days. What stands out is him taking me to the airport Sunday a.m. so I could make it to my grandfather's funeral in Maryland that afternoon. One wonderful way for Centre men to honor Max would be to contribute to the Max and Doris Cavnes Scholarship Funds that Centre set up to honor Max and his wife. Chuck Rappaport Class of 1973

There are places you go and people you meet; what you take with you is not the scenery, but the friends you make along the way. Love you Max.
