Kenneth Dale Kelley
Truly loved and respected, long time resident of Lytle Creek, Ken Kelley passed away July 17, 2013. Ken held a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering, graduating from Cal Poly University. He worked for NASA at the Cape Canaveral Space Station, General Dynamics, as well as over seeing several oil-drilling operations overseas before retiring from Raytheon Corporation. He served 6 years in the Naval Reserves.
Ken had a lifelong passion for building hot rods and racing at the Bonneville Salt Flats, where he became a member of the 200 mile an hour club. At his passing he was working on 300 miles per hour. Ken was a member of the American Pool Association and competed in regional and national playoffs.
Ken Kelley was a very honest, loving and extremely talented individual. He will be sorely missed. A private memorial is planned..
