Malcolm "Mike" L. Harbauer
70, passed away on Monday, 7/22 at the San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital in Banning, CA. Malcolm was born April 10, 1943 in Loma Linda, CA and was a Rialto resident for 41 years. He was in the Army for 2 years and was a front end and brake mechanic for over 40 years. He was very active in many childrens organizations and was the founder of the Ricky Morales Memorial Golf Tournament benefiting the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. He was also active in the Elks Lodge #836 in San Bernardino and Foresters Mt. Vista Branch for over 42 years.
Malcolm is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jeanette Harbauer; daughter, Michelle Gura of Beaumont; Son Malcolm Harbauer, Jr. and wife Penni of Hemet, CA; son-in-law, Chris Gura; brother, Leroy Harbauer of Oklahoma; 4 grandchildren, Malcolm III, Christopher Gura, Madilynne Harbauer , Clark Gura and many beloved friends and family.
A memorial service is scheduled for Friday, July 26, 2013 at 10:00am at the Elks Lodge #836, 2055 Elks Dr., San Bernardino, CA 92404
