James Carl Lind, 67, of St. Louis Park, formerly of St. Cloud, MN and Aberdeen, SD, passed away April 23, 2014 with his family by his side.
James was born in Aberdeen, SD on October 6th, 1946 to Chester and Marie Lind. He graduated from Central High School in Aberdeen in 1964. Following High School, James attended Arizona State University. He was married to Pamela Ann Larson on January, 7th, 1967. Together they lovingly raised 2 children.
James worked in the banking industry and later owned a local print shop in St. Cloud. He had a great passion for golf, making 6 "holes in one" over the years, and enjoyed annual golf events with his life-long friends. James also had a great love of horse racing. Earlier in life he was an avid hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed several exciting trips to Canada with family and friends.
James is survived by his loving wife, Pamela; children, Kim Lind and Robert (Joy) Lind; a fond niece, Carmen Routon; grandchildren, Nicholas Lind-Behrends, Laura Lind-Behrends, Marie Lind-Behrends, Andrew Lind-Behrends and Charles Lind; siblings, Karen Pederson, Steve Lind and Jack (Patty) Lind; and many life-long friends.
James was a man of honesty and great integrity who touched many lives. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
