Michael J. DeBernardi, age 58, of Breezy Point, died Friday November 30, 2012 at the Foley Nursing Center, Foley.
Memorial services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Foley Funeral Home Chapel, Foley. The Rev. Anthony Oelrich will officiate. A private burial will be at a later date.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home on day of service. Arrangements were made by the Foley Funeral Home.
Michael DeBernardi was born March 21, 1954 in Long Beach, CA to Art and Jerry Lou (Wetter) DeBernardi. Michael graduated from Foley High School in 1972 and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in pharmaceuticals. He was an avid golfer, Gopher sports fan and enjoyed fishing and skiing. Mike worked as a pharmacist at Mayo Clinic for over 30 years. He coached youth softball and enjoyed listening to music.
He is survived by his parents, Art and Jerry Lou, Foley; daughter, Toni DeBernardi, Denver, CO; and Shelley, Kara and Lisa; and special pet, Deacon.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Enrico & Geramina DeBernardi and Gerald & Dolly Wetter.
Memorials are preferred to the Ronald McDonald House in Rochester.
