A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:30PM on Friday, May 17, 2013 at St. Paul's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Vioca "Billie" Pauline Borman, 87, of St. Cloud who died Monday, May 13, 2013, at St. Benedict's Senior Community surrounded by her loving family. Rev. Alan Wielinski will officiate and burial will be in the Assumption Mausoleum, St. Cloud. Relatives and friends may call after 11:00AM on Friday, May 17, 2013 at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Williams Dingmann Family Funeral Home.

Billie was born in Watkins to the late John and Patronella (Vossen) Turck. She worked at a movie theatre through her teenage years in Watkins, which fostered a lifelong love of movies and music. Billie attended St. Catherine's College in St. Paul during World War II working towards a degree in nursing through the United States Cadet Nurse Corps. She also attended St. Cloud State University and later worked for Thoele Dental Laboratories in St. Cloud. She married Everett Borman on June 30, 1947 at St. Mary's Cathedral in St. Cloud. Following their marriage, the couple moved to Glenwood where Billie was very involved in church activities at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. While living in Paynesville, Billie was an area reporter for the Willmar West Central Tribune and thoroughly enjoyed gathering local news and pictures for the weekly publication. Following the family's move to St. Cloud, she worked at Fandel's and Herberger's as a Sales Associate until her retirement in 1989. Billie enjoyed gardening, Bridge Club, playing cards with family, feeding her feathered and furred friends, cheering on the Minnesota Twins, and planning family get togethers. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with her family and spent countless hours caring for and playing with her grandchildren. She was delighted to welcome two great-grandchildren into the world in 2010 (Brynn) and 2012 (Evan); and she had many great grand-pets that she adored. She will be dearly missed.

Billie is survived by her children, Karen (Jim) Hommerding of St. Cloud, Kevin of St. Cloud; grandchildren, Christopher Hommerding, Holly Hommerding, Jess (Roger) Baumann, Jenn (Luke) Ehalt; and sister-in-law, Lorraine (Borman) Schabel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Borman; infant daughter, Debra Lee; siblings, Marie (Eddie) Jahn, Edwin (Katherine) Turck, Caroline (Curly) Raymond, Donald (Jean) Turck, and Lorraine Turck.

Many thanks to Dr. Muhammed Faheed Suri, the nurses and staff at the St. Cloud Hospital Intensive Care Unit, Oncology Unit, Palliative Care Team, Hospice Team and St. Benedict's Short Stay South Unit for their excellent care of Billie following her stroke.
