Bruno Joseph
Del Castello
A native of San Francisco, Bruno passed away on November 20, 2013 at the age of 93.
Bruno was a devoted husband of 67 years to his wife Mildred. He was the beloved father to Susan, Jerry and David and grandfather to Angelina, David, Barbara Del Castello and Corrina Kelly-Nelson and Kate Kelly.
He was very proud of his service in the Navy during World War II serving in the South Pacific on the USS Arkansas. Bruno worked as a truck driver for 40 years at Atlas Heating. Upon retiring, he spent over 10,000 hours of volunteer service at the VA Medical Center in SF. He is a Life Member of the VFW, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans and the Teamsters Local 85.
Services were held on Saturday, November 23, 2013 at Crosby-N.Gray & Co., Burlingame, CA. 650-342-6617.
