James Joseph Longwich

Passed away peacefully at the VA hospital on January 20, 2014 after a lengthy illness. Born to George & Mary Longwich in San Francisco, Jim attended St. Vincent's high school. After high school he enlisted in the US Army and served in the Vietnam War. As a civilian he spent several years working for Boeing. Jim lived most of his adult life in the mid-Atlantic region before returning to San Francisco a few years ago. He is survived by his loving brother Michael, his sister Carol, his daughter Jaime, his son Adam, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jim enjoyed the music of Roy Orbison, was an accomplished bowler, and loved dogs. Friends and family are invited to the Funeral Service on Tuesday January 28 at 11am at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 1500 Old Mission road, Colma.
