Lynn Ann Weed, 68, of Belmont made the transition on 12-9-13 at UCSF.
Lynn was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She graduated from Ohio State University & worked in systems support for companies including World Bank, NCR & Stratus.
Lynn had many interests including skiing, photography & collecting floaty pens. She loved to travel & enjoyed holidays with family at Northstar Ski Resort, Twain Harte CA and Lakeside OH. She was a member of Menlo Park Presbyterian & she was a dear godmother to Ellie & Grace MacLean.
Lynn is preceded in death by her parents, Esther & Wilson Weed. She is survived by her brother Jeff Weed of Towson MD & many beloved cousins.
Her family thanks the skilled providers at UCSF's Breast Care Center who cared for her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Julia Morgan School for Girls in Oakland where her goddaughters attend.
A celebration of Lynn will be held Wednesday, December 18 at 2pm at Menlo Park Presbyterian Church, 950 Santa Cruz Ave in Menlo Park.
