Neita Crain FarmerLongtime resident of Burlingame, passed away June 26, 2014 at the age of 99. She is survived by her son Richard Leslie Farmer. Neita was preceded in death by her husband Sardis T. H. Farmer.

She will be remembered by her friends and family for her interior designs, her gracious entertaining and meals, her paintings and collages and her writing, especially her limericks and fascination with Shakespeare and T.S. Eliot. Travel was an important part of Neita's life. She and son Richard visited many places together, often spending time with relatives and friends. Before marriage and later in life she was an elementary school teacher.
A celebration of her life was held in Honolulu, Hawaii.
A special thank you goes to her caregivers who were so kind, attentive and professional.
The family suggests memorial gifts in her memory to Kainos Home and Training Center, 3631 Jefferson Avenue, Redwood City, CA 94062, an organization devoted to providing group homes and vocational training activities for developmentally disabled adults.
