Peter is survived by his wife, Ellen Taylor Huppert, his daughter Ann Huppert and her husband Robert Corser, his son Paul and his wife Frances Crouter, and three grandsons, Silas and Lars Huppert and Will Corser. He is also survived by his sister Doris Baum, her husband Lee Baum and her sons Steven and Daryl Holzberg.
Peter was born in Prague, Czechoslovaka and came to the U.S. with his family in 1943. He was a graduate of Princeton University and Harvard Law School. He lived in San Francisco for 52 years where he practiced law. After his retirement, he played duplicate bridge with a consuming passion. Always a lover of puns and gin on the rocks. he also loved to travel.
There will be no funeral service. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
