Robert James Archambeau, Jr.

Rob Archambeau, Jr. was born in San Francisco on July 17, 1951 and graduated from St. Peter's Grammar School and Sacred Heart High School. He was a U. S. Navy veteran and served in the dental field in San Diego.


Rob died peacefully on January 29, 2014 after a short bout with cancer. He was surrounded by his loving sisters – Kathleen Archambeau, Lili Rollins, Michelle Whitsitt and Nora Archambeau. Annette Archambeau called in often from Hawaii. Rob leaves behind his long-time partner, Karen Wu, and a wide circle of relatives and friends. He was pre-deceased by his parents, Robert James Archambeau, Sr. and Rafala T. Moran Archambeau.


Robert's ashes will be set to rest in a military cemetery and scattered at his favorite childhood place, the Russian River. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Wounded Warrior Project or a are welcomed. A Celebration of Rob's life will be held March 8th 2014, at 12 Noon in Alameda, CA.
