Andrew J. Kolis
SPRINGFIELD – Andrew J. Kolis, 82, of Springfield, passed away Feb. 22, 2013.
Born Jan. 27, 1931, son of Stanley and Johanna M. (Biallis) Kolis. Married to his beloved June A. Paul. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Clara Erdman, Theresa DeGrande and Agnes Hamrick; and brothers, James and Stanley Kolis.
Andrew was a passionate craftsman in trade and hobby. Andrew was a member of the VFW and American Legion.
Andrew is survived by his wife, June; daughter, Colette R. (Walter) Carter; brother, Joseph Kolis; and sisters, Anna Gillen and Margaret Morgan.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until noon Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at Vancil-Murphy Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Camp Butler National Cemetery.
