KREHER, Alexander "Sonny", 97, passed away peacefully on Dec. 18, 2012. A lifelong resident of Tampa, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret McLean Kreher, and his ten brothers and sisters whom he loved dearly. He is survived by his son, Dr. Alex Kreher and his wife, Dr. Susan, of Montgomery, AL.; his daughter, Margaret "B.A." Rorebeck and her husband, Curt, of Tampa; and four grandchildren whom he adored, Gantt Rorebeck and his wife, Alisha, McLean Murphy and her husband, Matt, Alexandra Kreher and Margaret Ann Kreher. He graduated from Hillsborough High School and went on to study at Louisiana State University. He retired from the Jim Walter Corporation in 1964 and devoted the rest of his life to his family. The family would like to thank Dr. Albert Tawil for his wonderful care and compassion. They also would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to his wonderful caregivers, Ivana, Mayelin, Luz and Lourdes for their love and constant devotion. A memorial service will be held on Dec. 23 at 3 pm at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church, 3501 W. San Jose St., Tampa. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make donations to Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church.
