MITCHELL, Alma Jean Homegoing Celebration for Alma, of Tampa, who passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, will be held on Saturday, Feb. 1st, 10 am, at Aikens Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Raymond D. Williams, officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Eustis. She was born Oct. 2, 1938 in Eustis, to the late James E. Williams and Dora Lee Moore Williams. Alma enjoyed teaching, travelling and baking. She was a school teacher for many years for Hillsborough County School Board. She was preceded in death by her parents. She leaves to cherish her memory, children, Gerald B. Williams, and Michael E. Williams (Barbara); grandchildren, Jerald, Jasmine, Raymond D. Williams (Carrie), Michael T. Williams (Cassandra), Ashly and Savon Williams, and Willie Kelly Jr.; great-grandchildren, Kalvin Jr., Amriyah Williams, Aubreelyn Kelly, Michael and Michala Williams; brother, Robert M. Williams; aunt, Lydia Williams; nephews, Mel M. Williams, Stephen Williams and Eric Williams; cousins, Estelle Watford, Christopher Williams, Cleotha Fluitt, Edward Jacobs, Catherine Jacobs, Lydia Peterson, Harry Jacobs, Lois Clark, Vanessa, Michael, Valrie Scott, Jerry, Diana and Brenda Fluitt; and a host of other relatives and friends. The visitation will be held at Aikens Funeral Home, (813)232-8725, on Friday, Jan. 31st, from 5-8 pm. The family and friends are asked to meet at the chapel on Saturday for the service.
