WILKENING, Beatrix B. 76, passed away at her home in Tarpon Springs on Wednesday, April 24, 2013. She was born on Sept. 14, 1936 in Chicago, IL to John Spencer Burrows and Elsie (Whyte) Burrows. Bee graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Graphic Design. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, and was thought of dearly by those that knew her. Some of her favorite things were knitting, watching her grandchildren participate in activities, having lunch with friends, and enjoying the scenic beauty of Howard Park. She is survived by her daughters, Lisa Wilkening of Sarasota and Dina Glover of Safety Harbor; her son, Casey Wilkening of Tampa; her sister, Barbara Fenton of San Diego, CA; niece, Deborah Eggleston of San Diego, CA; nephew, Bill Connolly of Sandpoint, ID; and five grandchildren. She was a great woman, a caring mother, a loving sister, a fun grandmother, a best friend and a beautiful soul who will be missed for her wise advice, gentleness, quick smile and good nature.
