BRODIE, Betty Love Moore 90, of Cranford, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014 at Atria Assisted Living in Cranford. Born in Algood, TN, she lived in Rochester, NY before retiring to Tarpon Springs. Mrs. Brodie was a graduate of Tennessee Polytechnic University, where she received her BA in Accounting and received her MBA from Louisiana State University. She was employed as an administrator in the East Irondequoit School System in Rochester for over 20 years before retiring. Earlier, she was employed by Eastman Kodak Co. She was a longtime Girl Scout Leader; a master bridge player; and made wonderful friends wherever she went. She was married to the late Robert Brodie, Architect for Kodak, for 64 years before his death in July 2009. She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Corbett and her husband, Robert; her son, David Brodie; five grandchildren, Meghan Love Farren, Paige Elizabeth Corbett-Weinberger, Erin Corbett Cartwright, Bekka Brodie Popescu and Robert Brodie; and five great-grandchildren.
