LINS, Carole Dalton died June 26, 2014 at the age of 82. She was preceded in death by her husband, Don, her youngest son, Jody, her parents, Dorothy and Joe Dalton, and her sister, Dorothy Trigg. Carole is survived by her son, Michael Lins (Linda); her daughter, Leisa Younger (Buck); and by five grandchildren, Nathan and Leigh Anne Younger, and Amanda, Mike, and Delaney Lins. She was born and lived her entire life in Tampa, attending local schools and graduating from H.B. Plant High School. Carole graduated from University of Florida where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Upon graduation from college, she taught at Tinker Elementary School located on MacDill Air Force Base. Carole was in the Court of Ye Mystic Krewe of Gasparilla, a Merrymaker Sponsor, a member of The Junior League of Tampa, and a member of the Lamplighters. She grew up a member of First Presbyterian Church of Tampa and in later years was a member of Davis Islands Community Church. In lieu of flowers, Carole has requested that a donation be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Suncoast Chapter in memory of her son, Jody. Visitation will be Thursday, July 3, from 6-8 pm at Blount & Curry F.H., 605 S. MacDill Avenue, Tampa. Burial will be private.
