Obituary

JARVIS, Charles Wayne age 79, of Plant City, entered into rest on April 4, 2014. Charles was a fuel truck driver for Presto Foods for 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps serving in the Korean Conflict. Charles loved fishing, hunting, and gardening. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Charles' care giver, Amanda Coffee. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Lorine Jar-vis; brothers, Gary and Sherril Jarvis. Survivors include sons, Wayne Jarvis, Kenny Jarvis; daughter, Deborah Ingersoll (Chuck); his stepdaughters, Glenda Stary, Sylvia Fleming; sister-in-law, Helen Jarvis; nephews, Dale, Lee, Paul, Gary; his niece, Darbie; three grandchildren; 12 great-gran-dchildren; and his one great-great-grandchild. A funeral service will be held 11 am, Friday, April 11, at Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Thursday at the funeral home.
