Deaundre GREEN


GREEN, Private First Class (PFC) Deaundre "KidNerdy" 19, of Tampa, passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2014. He was born in Tampa on Feb. 2, 1995, to Cherita Mojica LPN and Sergeant First Class (SFC) Glen Green. Deaundre graduated from Wharton High School and joined the United States Army Sept. 10, 2013. PFC Deaundre Green was assigned to the Headquarters Service Battery, 2-230th Field Artillery, 1st Brigade Combat Team, in Fort Campbell, KY, as a Field Artillery Firefinder Radar Operator (13R). PFC Deaundre Green was a beloved member of Kingdom Worship Center where he participated in a praise dance named "Kodak Kids". He found himself helping anyone in need and asked for nothing in return. He never knew any strangers because he befriended everyone he came in contact with. PFC Deaundre Green is survived by his parents, SFC Glen Green and Cherita and Efrain Mojica; his four sibilings, Jacarr, Vivica, Devonte and Geovanni; his three grandparents, Veronica and Ruel Green and Minnie McDuffie; his seven aunts, five uncles and many cousins. A service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home and Memory Gardens at 10 am, on Monday, June 7, 2014, with the burial immediately following.
