Obituary

GEARY, Donald L. 76, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, July 5, 2014. He is survived by his spouse of 47 years, Mary Alice Geary of Tampa; 3 sons, Daryl and Tammi Geary of Midland, MI, Sean Geary of Tampa, Duane and Kara Geary of Brandon, FL; brother, Dr. Edward Geary of Stuart, FL; 6 grandchildren, Daniel, Dustin, Devin, Duane, Nicholas and Michael; and 4 great-grandchildren, Dylan, Cadan, Ariel and Kylee. He was loved by numerous nephews, nieces and friends and will be greatly missed. Donald was a veteran of the Air Force and a retired City of Tampa firefighter. He was a founding member of the Rebel Bass Club; he served 2 terms as President of FBMXA and was a member of the Tampa Rose Society. Donald was involved with the Sons of Confederate Veteran's and a member of the Juda P. Benjamin Camp #2210. A Tampa native, Donald loved to fish; had a green thumb for growing roses, loved gardening, genealogy and playing on the computer. He loved to spend time with his family and friends. Visitation will be at Boza and Roel Funeral Home, 4730 N. Armenia Ave, on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 from 6-8 pm and Graveside services will be at Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Tampa on July 10, 2014 at 10am.
