SMITH, Edward L., 74, of Masaryktown passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family December 16, 2013. Born and raised in Tampa, he was an Air Force Veteran, and member of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 15-8. He loved his family & friends. He also loved motorcycles & old cars which he could fix or rebuild any engine. Edward could build anything someone needed. Survived by his wife Linda, daughter Brenda, brother John & Margaret Smith of Dahlonega, Ga., sister Shirley & Steve Keesee of Eustis, Fl., sister Beverly Smith of Mentone, AL. Preceded in death by parents, father Edward D., mother Florida Annel Lee Smith, brothers Lawrence Smith, G. Russell Smith, & grandchild Jada Smith. Visitation is 4-7pm, Thursday, December 19, and service is 10:30am, Friday, December 20, at Turner Funeral Home 14360 Spring Hill Dr, Spring Hill, FL ph: 352-796-9661. Interment will follow at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are welcome to HPH Hospice Foundation, donation department, 12107 Majestic Blvd., Hudson, FL 34467. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
