ROBERTS, Farrell Norton 81 of Plant City, died Nov. 20, 2012. Born July 15, 1931 in Gloucester, MA, he was the son of the late Oscar Roberts and the late Kathleen Gray. He was the husband of Carolyn Swift Roberts. He was a retired Master Sergeant in the Air Force from 1950 until 1975, serving in Vietnam and receiving the Bronze Star Medal. Mr. Roberts was very active civically, with memberships in the Elks Lodge of Plant City (Exalted Ruler), American Legion, VFW, AMVETS, and was a superintendent of the Walden Lake Country Club. Surviving are sons, Farrell, Lee, Bruce and Dean Roberts; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. A Graveside service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, Nov. 30, 2012, at Florida National Cemetery, with full military honors, located at 6502 SW 102nd Ave. Bushnell, FL 33513. The family wishes to acknowledge the outstanding care received by Cornerstone Hospice and asks that in lieu of flowers any who wish may donate to them in Farrell's name.
