TRUESDALE, Frank E. 88, passed away on April 3, 2014. He was born to the late Leo and Mabel Truesdale on Dec. 13, 1925 in Lynn, MA. He graduated from Lynn schools and held a Bachelor's degree from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and a Master's degree from Northeastern University, Boston. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II, and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. A lifelong educator with a passion for knowledge, he taught in the public schools of Massachusetts, served as dean at Northeastern University, and was the founding and academic dean at Bunker Hill Community College in Charlestown, MA. Frank was a member of Aleppo Shrine in Boston, past Master of Alpha Lodge A.F. and A.M., Framingham, MA, past High Priest of Concord Royal Arch, Chapel, Natick, MA, and a member of Trinity-Natick Commandery Knights Templar and York Rite College. Locally, he was a docent at the International Museum and adjunct professor at St. Petersburg College. His is survived by his wife, Natalie, sons, David (Kimberly) Cary, NC and Mark, Lake City, Jayne (Jayme) Hamzak of Cedar Grove, NC and Jean (David) Melanson of Framingham, MA; 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one predeceased, and many nieces and nephews.
