HENDERSON, Frank T. of Tampa, passed Jan. 7, 2013. Services Jan. 19, 2 pm at Ray Williams Memorial Chapel. Frank proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps as a Lance Corporal in the Vietnam War from 1969-1971, was awarded an Honorable Discharge in 1975, Frank was decorated with several medals, ribbons and plaques, including the Purple Heart. After returning to civilian life, Frank began an enjoyable career with Tampa Shipyard as a crane operator and then continued on to Logan Weeks Lumber as a foreman for 18 years of dedicated service, retiring in 2012. "Bruh" loved football and the Olympics. He taught tennis, was an avid tennis player and also ran marathons. He loved children and enjoyed teaching them tennis. Surrounded by his love Linda Lyles, "Bruh" was granted his Angel wings to begin his eternal life on Jan. 7, 2013. Survivors: mother, Estella; 2 children, Ryan (friend Jeannie), Armand (wife Linda); special friend, Linda; 6 grandchildren, Ryan Jr., Dakaylah, Dorrel, Syriah and Darius; 7 sisters, Freida, Lydia, Diane, Belinda (husband Dwight) Wanda, Bertniece, Stacy; 1 brother, Meredith; his adopted son, Michael Lyles; cousins, Ivy, Francine; god sister, Glynis Alexander; nieces and nephews; a host of other relatives and friends, including Wilma, Monroe, Sophia, Debra, Reggie and Cynthia.
