JACOBS, Harold D. "Sonny" 77, of Dade City, entered into rest Friday, Feb. 1, 2013. He was raised in Vincennes, Indiana and moved to Tampa in 1958. Sonny served in the U.S. Air Force, he worked as a Journeyman Lineman and was a 50 year member of IBEW Local 108. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, a devoted husband, father, grandfather and son who will be deeply missed by his family. Preceded in death by his son, Rusty and his parents, Dorothy and Harold. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Sharon Salter Jacobs; his children, Rick (Darlene), Randy (Tammy), Ronnie (Mario) & Michelle (Kenneth); grandchildren, Kelly, Kazie (Steven), and Josh Jacobs, Jimmy Roark, and Kenneth and Abby Hernandez; brother, Jim Jacobs; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, 6-9 pm, Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at Blount & Curry, Terrace Oaks Chapel. Interment with Military Honors will take place at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your local hospice.
