WISMANN, Harold F. 88, of Bonita Springs, and a former resident of Sun City Center, died Sept. 19, 2013 in Estero, FL. A recent resident of Bonita Springs, Harold had lived in Sun City Center since 1987 coming from Indiana. He was born April 30, 1925 in New Albany, IN a son of the late Francis and Emma (née Merriwether) Wismann. Harold received his bachelor's degree from the University of Notre Dame where he also played football for the "Fighting Irish" and later received his MBA from Indiana University. After a distinguished career, he retired in 1987 from Rockwell International as a Regional Manager. He was a veteran of WWII having served in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by his loving wife, Ellen M. Wismann of Bonita Springs; two sons, Bruce A. (Cindy) Wismann of Bonita Springs, and Doug F. (Laura) Wismann of St. Louis, MO; two daughters, Jane E. (Mark) O'Donnell of St. Louis, MO and Donna Jo (Dan) Herrman of Hayes, KS; brother, Guy Wismann of Denver, CO; three sisters, Fern Loi of Ft. Myers, Betty Wismann of Sun City Center, and Faye Hammett of Louisville, KY; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, Sept. 25 from 9:15-9:45 am at Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home 28300 Tamiami Tr. So. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am at St. Leo the Great Catholic Church 28294 Beaumont Rd., Bonita Springs.
