O'NEILL, Dr. James Flemister, 86, beloved father, grandfather and friend, of St. Petersburg, passed on June 11, 2013. James was born in Savannah, GA, April 7, 1927. A graduate of Princeton University, class of 1949, and Duke Medical School, class of 1954, he began his practice of ophthalmology in St. Petersburg & practiced for 30 years. An ardent sailor, he raced on the west coast of Florida and often cruised solo to Miami and the Bahamas. He married Anne O'Neill in 1952. He is survived by his loving children, Sandy Batchelor-Robjohns, Dr. James F. O'Neill Jr. (Joyce), Dr. Elizabeth Greenhill (Jeff) & Lisa O'Neill Walker (James). He is survived by nine wonderful grandchildren, Ramie O'Neill Graves (Paul), Stegin Mark (Jonathan), James Gree-nhill, Jennifer Kane (Danny), Natalie Greenhill, Alyse Scur-lock, Caridad MasBatch-elor, Robert Walker and John Walker. There will be no local service. There will be a private graveside service in Bonav-enture Cemetery in Savannah, GA.
