BOYER, James Russell Sr. 89, of Tampa, beloved husband, father, grandfather and great-grand-father passed away on Aug. 16, 2014. He proudly served with the Navy Seabees in World War II. He graduated from Hillsborough High School and the University of Florida. He retired after 42 years as a successful stockbroker. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen and son, William. He is survived by his wife, Evangeline; his sons, James Jr., Robert (Magalie), John (Tina); and his daughters, Beverly Miller (Sonny), Nanci Wilson (Larry), Judithe Cohen and Sandra Cornett (Dwaine); 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Annette and is survived by 3 stepchildren, Sharon (Alan), Ed (Karen) and Peggy (Edward). He was greatly loved and will truly be missed. Funeral services will take place at Garden of Memories on Aug. 23 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LifePath Hospice.
