FERRARA, John Angelo age 91, of St. Petersburg, died April 19, 2013. Born in Brooklyn, NY, graduated from Bishop Loughlin High School. John was a Navy veteran radar technician of WWII and retired from the NYC Police Dept's 41st Precinct, "Fort Apache" as a Police Captain. He is the author of two books and invented the "KeeSee". Survived by his wife of 68 years, Madeline; his children, Gregory, Melanie, Elissa; and grandchildren, John, Richard, Michael, Gregory, and Alora. Visitation 5-8 pm on Friday, April 26th at Anderson McQueen, 2201 Dr. MLK St. N, St. Petersburg. Service at St. Raphael Church, Snell Isle Blvd NE on Saturday, April 27th at 10:30 am, followed by interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
