John E. FROST

Obituary

FROST, John E. passed away at the age of 87, on May 21, 2013. John served in the U.S. Air Force for 30 years, retiring as a Colonel. He was honored to serve his country and some of his most memorable achievements were being a combat survivor of WWII, Korea and Vietnam, receiving the Purple Heart, his involvement with Research and Development, which included the space program and the first lunar orbit mission, the first shuttle launch & engineering of the microwave. He attended First Baptist Church of Brandon, received his Masters degree at Auburn University, and was a Mason for over 50 years. John is survived by his loving daughters and their families; Carol & Gregg Gerstenberger & their son, Nick; Jean and Robert Peeples, & their daughter, Tiffany; son, Rob and Donna Johnson & her daughter, Lauren.
