GUNSAULLUS, John 88, of St. Petersburg, died March 30, 2014. John was born to Burr and Reba Gunsaullus in Mendham, NJ. He is survived by his wife, Olive, sons Paul and John, daughter Johanna Taylor, 3 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He served his country in the U.S. Navy in WWII and retired from the U.S. Coast Guard as a Chief Warrant Officer W-3 after more than 21 years. He also retired from General Elevator after more than 10 years of service. John was always inquisitive, gregarious and enjoyed understanding how things worked. He excelled at all things remote control, from sail boats to model aircraft, winning local, state and national sail plane awards. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.
