DIGANGI, Joseph 78, of Tampa passed away on Sept. 20, 2013. He was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1935. He proud ly served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean and Vietnam wars and retired in 1974. Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Anita DiGangi; daughters, Shawn Lambert, Theresa DiGangi; sons, Joseph DiGangi (Mary), Lance DiGangi (Lisa); 2 stepdaughters, Debbie Schroeder, Shari Streifer (Steve); and 8 grandchildren, Ashley Lambert, Emily Lafortune, Katie DiGangi, Jenna DiGangi, Nicholas DiGangi, Jordan DiGangi, Michelle Gibson, Brian White; sister, Virginia Sarno; brothers, Savator DiGangi and John DiGangi. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank DiGangi. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Baldomero Lopez State Veterans Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Oct. 4 at 10 am at the Boza & Roel Funeral Home located at 4730 N. Armenia Avenue with interment and military honors to follow at Florida National Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
