Obituary

BACH, Lt. Col. Kenneth John Sr., 89, of Tampa, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Aug. 4, 2013. Kenneth was born in St. Paul, Minnesota to Joseph and Eleanor Bach on Feb. 25, 1924. He was a Lt. Colonel who proudly served in the U.S. Army Airborne during WWII, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam Wars. He was a Catholic by faith and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Kenneth was a lifelong member with the VFW in Tampa and with the Retired Officers Association. Survivors include his loving wife, Shirley Bach; sons, Kenneth John Bach Jr. and James Bach; stepsons, Michael Sprague and Patrick Sprague; stepdaughter, Evelyn Hall; brother, Donald Bach; sister, Joann Meier; 12 grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be Thursday, Aug. 8th at 11 am at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. www.blountcurrycarrollwood.com
