Van VLEET, Lesa Hubner 66, of St. Petersburg, died peacefully on Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at Tampa General Hospital after a brief struggle with cancer. Born in Davenport, IA, she graduated from Central High School and the University of Washington (Seattle), where she was a Kappa Delta. She came here in 1979 and joined Lutheran Church of the Cross. Lesa loved travelling with her family, her work as a math teacher and later as a tax preparer, and Rays baseball. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Lorraine Hubner. Lesa is survived by her daughters, Stacey and Amanda Van Vleet; her companion, John Reid; and brothers Jeff, John and Jay Hubner. A visitation will be held from 4:30pm - 7:30pm on Saturday, Dec. 7th, at Anderson McQueen, 2201 Dr. MLK Street N. A memorial service will be held at 2pm on Sunday, Dec. 8th at Lutheran Church of the Cross, 4545 Chancellor Street NE. Donations may be made in her name to the
