BUCK, Judge Morison age 90, peacefully joined the love of his life for over 70 years on March 2, 2014. A native of Memphis, TN, he attended Rhodes College, University of Tampa, a graduate of University of Florida Law School and practiced as a sole practitioner in Tampa from 1948-1977. He was appointed Circuit Court Judge until retiring in 1991. He worked as a mediator and arbitrator and enjoyed volunteering at the John Germany Library. He served as Past President of the Hillsborough County Bar Association and wrote "Chips Off The Old Block" for their monthly publication. A self-described "wannabe scribe", he wrote 50 biographies of deceased judges that are now housed in the Special Collections Library at USF. He was a former member of the Sertoma Club and Palma Ceia Golf and Country Club, where he loved playing weekly rounds of golf. Judge Buck was highly respected and loved by all who knew him. He was predeceased in death by his parents, Nelle P. Buck, and James M. Buck; wife, Virginia M. Buck; and many dear friends. Surviving are his devoted daughters, Janelle (Robert) Tampa, Rosalie "Dede" West, NC; son, Dr. James F. Buck, (Ashley), GA; sister, MaryNelle Shi-nn, St. Petersburg; and nephews, Dudley and Jimi Wilcox.
