Roger Buchanan CURLIN

CURLIN, Roger Buchanan 85, of University Park, surrounded by family and friends, left for Heaven Thursday morning, Sept. 26, 2013, in Sarasota. Roger was a tree of life. He nourished, sheltered, and helped influence so many lives. A World War II Navy veteran, Roger was a native of Tampa, born Dec. 9, 1927. He owned and ran R.B. During life, he flew his own plane, sailed their 45' boat, traveled the world, and loved elegant cars. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Karen Hosack-Curlin; children, Mary Beth McKinney, Melanie Geiger, Roger (Buck) Curlin III, Tim Curlin; sister, Sylvia Boyd; 10 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren; and his beloved Cocker Spaniel, Casey.
