CAISSIE, Roland Anthony, age 86, left this earth on April 7, 2014 of natural causes. His daughter and son-in-law were by his side at the time of his peaceful passing. He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Irene Caissie, and has now joined her in Heaven. He is survived by his sisters, Lorraine Griggs of Westford, MA, Claire Horton of Poughkeepsie, NY, and his children, Roland Caissie Jr. of Atlanta, GA, Suzanne Musser (Michael) of Salem, SC, Raymond Caissie (Janice) of Brandon, FL, Annette Dunn (Rick) of Lakeland, FL and Corinne Bearry (Marlon) of Sydney, FL, and all the wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren that make up our very large family. He resided for the past five years with his daughter and son-in-law, Annette and Rick Dunn, who made his final years happy and secure. The family is forever in their debt for making their home his home after the passing of our mother. He was a hard working and honest man who served in the United States Navy at the end of WWII. We will all miss him for many reasons; especially his humor and his beautiful blue eyes. With the assistance of the Neptune Society, a private family burial will take place later this month. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Cornerstone Hospice, 2590 Havendale Boulevard, Winter Haven, FL 33881.
