Obituary

PACE, Ruhl LaVeigne 92, of Plant City, passed away July 15, 2013, surrounded by his loved ones. He was a valedictorian at Wauchula High School, and during WWII he served in the United States Army Air Corps. He was a successful businessman who worked with County Court Clerks & Supervisors of Elections throughout Florida, and was a loyal member of the Rotarians and the Elks. He is survived by his wife, Earlene Pace; his daughters, Barbara Pace, Tracy Everett (Ron), Debra Horvath, Janet Hale, Stacey Rodriguez; grandchildren, Eric Bagley, Shana Ray, Pace & Austin Everett, Anthony, Nicholas, Deanna, and Christopher Rodriguez; siblings, Margaret Roberts (Lawrence) of Wauchula & Mark Pace of Dalton, GA; seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. F uneral services will be held at 11 am, Friday, July 19th, at the First United Methodist Church, 303 N Evers St., Plant City, FL 33563. A celebration of his life will take place at the Plant City Elks Club following the funeral services. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ruhl Pace Scholarship Fund at Plant City High School or the First United Methodist Church would be greatly appreciated.
