PACETTI, Thelma passed away at her residence on March 10, 2013, at the age of 105. Born in Pembroke, GA, in 1907, Thelma moved to St. Augustine in 1926. She met her husband, Percy and then started teaching in a one room school, the Mill Creek School, in the settlement of Mill Creek, FL. Dedicated to the process of education, Thelma continued her advanced studies at the University of Florida and Stetson University. She taught multiple generations of students for 46 years, retiring in 1975. After her retirement, Thelma remained active with her tutoring, gardening, crocheting and traveling to visit her many friends & family. In her later years, she enjoyed living with her granddaughter's family in St. Petersburg, and seeing the five generations of her family on the holidays. Thelma is survived by her son, Kenneth Pacetti and his wife, Patricia. Additional family members include 3 grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and Eileen Pacetti, Kevin and Kim Pacetti, and Parrish and Michele Winesett; great-grandchildren include, Andrew and Aileen Pacetti and their children, Nathaniel and Emmeline; Lani Pacetti and Daniel Pacetti; John & Michelle Pacetti and their daughter, Amelia Pacetti; David Pacetti and Matthew Pacetti; Emily Winesett and Stephen Winesett. Thelma's faith played an important part in her life and she lived it daily. In St. Petersburg, a funeral mass will be held at St. Raphael's Church at 10 am, Friday, March 15th. In St. Augustine, a memorial service will be held at Craig Funeral Home at 10 am, Saturday, March 16th, followed by her burial in Mill Creek.
