BECHTEL, Walter I., Jr. Died peacefully on Nov. 26, 2012, in Brooksville. Walter was born in Norristown, PA, and lived the majority of his life there and later in Delaware. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the 4th Armored Division which spearheaded General Patton's 3rd Army. He was the recipient of both the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. Walter is survived by his daughter, Linda Clemons; his granddaughters, Tandra, Rebecca and his great-grandchildren Nicholas, Laney and Hunter.
