Orf, Gerald (Jerry) Anthony Beloved Husband of Martha Ann Orf, nee Busken, son of the late Otto and Eleanor Orf, passed away on February 25th, his 88th birthday. Jerry was preceded in death by his brother Joseph Orf and sister Ann Dietrich. He is survived by his siblings, Janet, Bill, Bob, Myra and Paul. He will be forever loved by his sons and daughters, Roger (Lisa Heffernan), Nancy Machens (Dave), Alan (Ronica), & Lisa Sher (Ned). His 10 grandchildren will always remember their loving Grandpa, Kate, Ted, Ben, Kalyn, Lauren, Jerred, Dustin, Madeleine, Jackie, and Drew. His great grandchildren, Tony, Emme, Olivia, Therese, will always have loving memories of Grandpa. Jerry had deep love for his family. Martha and Jerry were married for over 62 years. He also enjoyed being around his many cherished friends. They golfed, played cards, bowled, and shot pool together. Countless wonderful memories were made with his dear friends of the Birds Club. Having worked for 51 years at Ahmann's Office Supply, Jerry was a fixture on Main St., St. Charles. He started at age 12 delivering newspapers, and later became co-owner of the business. Everyone knew and loved Jerry. Jerry served our country in the Navy from 1944 to 1946. Jerry was a lifelong member of St. Peter Church where he served as an usher. After retiring, he volunteered countless hours maintaining the church in spotless condition. He was an active member of his community serving in the American Legion, the Knights of Columbus and the VFW. Services: The memorial mass will be on Saturday, March 15, at 10 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church in St. Charles. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. Peter's Parish, St. Vincent DePaul Society or Duchesne High School in care of Alternative Funeral & Cremation Services, 2115 Parkway Dr. St. Peters, MO 63376. 636 498-5300.
