Rappold, Glen B. of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 at the age of 65. Loving husband of Mary HillRappold (ne: Colvis); beloved son of the late John J. and Annette Rappold; devoted father of Rachel (Jason) Huffman, Sherry (Mike) Landen, Terry Savage, William (Mary) Hill, James (Karen) Hill, Teresa (Scott) Held, Justin (Mandy) Hill, and Chris (Vanessa) Hill; cherished grandfather of 17; treasured great-grandfather of 5; and dear brother of John (Juanita) Rappold, Jerome (Sue) Rappold, Joanne Shocklee, and Tom (Jan) Rappold. Glen was employed at Moog Automotive as a Lineman for 19 years. He was a member of several organizations including the VFW in Wentzville, United States Marine Corps League, Royal Order of the Purple Heart, and the Patriot Guard Riders. Glen proudly served his country in the Vietnam War and, later in his life, he built a beautiful Vietnam memorial monument in his backyard to honor his fallen buddies. The living memorial is now relocated in St. Peters, MO, and includes a walkway and a garden. Services: The family is being served by The BAUE Funeral and Memorial Center, 3950 West Clay Street, St. Charles, MO where a visitation will be held on Sunday, April 28, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM. Another visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, Monday, April 29, 2013 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 7701 Highway N, Dardenne Prairie, MO followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM.
