Purcell, Jane Costigan at the age of 93, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, on Saturday, March 8, 2014. Beloved wife of the late Harry K. Purcell, M.D.; loving mother of Frances Fran Fanning (Charles) of Carbondale, IL, Susan Sue Powers (Pierce), Mary Molly Gayou (Donald), Catherine Kate Raybuck (Joseph), Henry Hank Purcell (Sharon) and William Bill Purcell (Angie); dear grandmother of twenty-three; great-grandmother of three; dear sister of the late Mary Elizabeth Moloney, Edward J. Costigan, Harriet C. Wienke, Ruth C. Corrigan and William K. Costigan; aunt, greataunt, cousin and friend of many. Jane was a life long resident of St. Louis, a proud volunteer of the USO during WWII and devoted four years of her life with her husband and family to develop the medical programs at Holy Family Hospital in New Dehli, India, serving the poor through the Medical Mission Sisters. Services: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the Church of The Immacolata, 8900 Clayton Rd., Richmond Heights, on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
