Faron, Jules Jutes J. Baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Sat. Oct. 26, 2013. Beloved husband of Barbara Faron (nee Engelhard); dear father and father-in-law of Cheryl (Mark) Stuessie, Scott (Kim) Faron and Bob (Suzie) Faron; dear grandfather of Kyle and Shannon Stuessie, Julia and Monica Faron, and Charlie, Connor and Jack Faron; dear brother of Hortense Mueller, JoAnn Terbrock and the late Nelson and Marcella Faron and parents Jules and Jospehine Faron; our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend. Jutes was inducted into the St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame in 1984. He continued his love of baseball by serving as a well-known coach in the Creve Coeur Khoury League for many years. A loyal St. Louis sports fan, he instilled his love of baseball and softball in his kids and grandkids, spending many nights in the coach's box and cheering from the stands. Jules served during the Korean war and was a proud member of the Creve Coeur Legion 397. When Jutes wasn't at the ballgame, he cherished family time at his cabin on the Gasconade river where he enjoyed early fishing outings and boys weekends during deer season. Married to the love of his life, Barbara, for 58 years. Together, they built a loving, Catholic family. Services: Funeral from the ORTMANN STIPANOVICH Funeral Home, 12444 Olive Blvd., Creve Coeur, Wed., Oct. 30, 9:30 a.m. to St. Richard Church for 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial. Interment St. Monica Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society appreciated. Visitation 3-8 p.m. Tuesday.
