Natoli, Nancy Schuster age 48, of Bel Air, MD, passed away September 17, 2013, in her home. Nancy was born in St. Louis, MO and is the daughter of Walter J. and Jacqueline (nee Vogel) Schuster, of Webster Groves, MO. Nancy was in the class of 1983 at Cor Jesu Academy and received a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Urban Planning from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1988. She met and married the love of her life, Vincent D. Natoli (Vinny) at MIT. Vinny earned a Ph.D. In Physics at the University of Illinois, Champaign. Nancy was very successful in her roles as mother and career woman. She served in the Pentagon as the Program Director of the Office of the Deputy Under Secretary of Defense. During her work she protected the training mission of the armed forces by planning and negotiating agreements with local and state authorities and environmental groups across the nation. Nancy served in leadership roles and as a volunteer in many school and community organizations. She was known for her compassion, hospitality and healthy lifestyle. Vinny and Nancy's children are: Mary Elizabeth, a senior at University of Maryland, College Park, studying Bio-Engineering. She recently traveled 4,400-miles in 70days, cross-country on her bike to raise funds and increase awareness of cancer. Michael Bartholomew, a sophomore at University of Maryland, College Park, studying Atmospheric and Oceanic Science. James Vincent is a junior at C. Milton Wright High School in Bel Air and an accomplished trumpet player. Nancy's siblings are Sister Dorothy Guadalupe Schuster, S.V., a Sister of Life, of Suffern, NY; Walter J. Schuster, Jr., Esq., his wife Anne, of Webster Groves; Peter J. Schuster, Ph.D., his wife Sonja, of Atascadero, CA; and David M. Schuster, Ph.D., his wife Loretta, of Webster Groves; and their children Spike, Deborah, Thomas, Lex, John Paul, Therese, Lucy, and Baby to be born Jan 2014. Vinny's parents, Marie and the late Dominic Natoli of Long Island, NY, lovingly received Nancy into their family at their marriage January 1987. After services on September 21, 2013, at the Mountain Christian Church, Joppa, MD, Nancy was interred in the adjoining Church cemetery. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 8, at 6:00 pm at Annunciation Catholic Church, 12 W. Glendale, Webster Groves, reception to follow.
