Scoville, Richard Dick May 12, 1937 November 15, 2013 Died suddenly at home. Dick grew up in Chicago, IL. After graduating from the University of Illinois, he taught swimming and scuba diving, coached water polo and swimming at University City High School from 1965-1991. He was a proud submarine veteran, having served on the USS Redfin SSR227 and a gifted woodworker. Dear son of the late Elizabeth and Loren Scoville; beloved husband of Laura Scoville (nee Hansen); dearest father of Kevin (Debi) Scoville, Diana Edwards, Lauren (Kevin) Warren and Christopher Scoville; dear son-inlaw of Joe and Shirley Hansen; brother of John (Charlene) Scoville; brother-in-law of Craig (Marcia) Hansen, John (Paula) Hansen and Richard Hansen; beloved grandfather of Kelcie and Samantha Scoville, Marissa and Alexa Edwards, Emiliana Cano and Eva Warren; our dear uncle, great-uncle, friend to many, and will be missed by all. Services: Memorial visitation Friday, November 22, 4-8 p.m. at Collier's Funeral Home, 3400 N. Lindbergh Blvd. Memorial Service, Saturday, November 23, 1 p.m. at Samuel United Church of Christ, 320 N. Forsyth Ave, Clayton, MO. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Samuel Pre-Kindergarten School Scholarship fund, 320 N. Forsyth Ave, Clayton 63105.
