Barkey, Ronald A. age 83, passed away April 24, 2012 at his home. Beloved husband of Lena Grace (Ancona) for 53 years; loving father of Karen Stebelski (William) and Cheryl Wiltsch (James). He was born in St. Louis to the late Joseph & Ruby (Wagstaff) Barkey. He will be missed by his brother, David Barkey (Carole), his niece, three nephews, cousins and many friends. Ronald served his country for four years during the Korean War, enlisting in the U.S. Navy in January 1951. He worked as a letter carrier for the U.S. Post Office for 28 years and was a proud member of the NALC. He and his wife retired in 1985, moving to Terre Du Lac, near Bonne Terre, Missouri, where they enjoyed playing golf & traveling. Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON , 10151 Gravois, Friday, April 27, 4 pm to 9 pm. Funeral from Kutis Affton Chapel on Saturday at 11:00 am. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial Mass to be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Bonne Terre at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the or Serenity HospiceCare, Park Hills, Missouri.
